Not to mention Low Cost Drug Rehab and Free Drug Rehab centers that are available for people who are addicted to drugs, alcohol or tobacco but don't have the means to pay for a private facility. I'm from the city Oceanside which is in Southern California. I constantly see what Methamphetamines and Heroin do to people in my community. I've seen everything from 7-11 stores get robbed for desparate Drug Addicts looking for a quick fix, to people that rob houses. I even spoke to a guy once who walked into a bank with a note demanding money. The FBI picked him up a week later and he got 7 years in prison for that stunt. They all did it because they were desparate for drugs with no way to pay for them.

Drugs ruin peoples lives and most people are afraid of Drug Intervention Programs. They also destroy the full potential of a person to achieve all they can be. And many are willing to set a price on their life for a gram of heroin or an ounce of Marijuana. Whether you drop acid, smoke pot, use Crack Cocaine, mushrooms (pronounced shrooms) or PCP, you have a problem whether you admit it or not. Just 2 weeks ago police tasered a guy in my neighborhood that took a baseball bat and started smashing in all the windows of a neighbors car.

This neighbor did nothing to this person. He was just freaking out because he didn't have money or access to drugs. It's obvious this gentleman needed some Drug Rehab Help and could have gotten through one of many Drug Rehab Centers. This happens everyday in some part of the United States alone. There are over 30,000,000 people in the United States who have tried Marijuana at least once. That's one out of 10 people. And while Marijuana isn't necessarily the big killer these days, it does distract people from their goals and has been proven in many cases to lead to much harder drugs.

A Drug Addict has to be honest with themselves and come to terms to what Long Term Drug Abuse will not only do to them, but the hell they often but their loved ones through. Many go from using to Drug Dealing to support their Drug Habit. The problem with this is that this is considered a felony and law enforcement usually gets involved after this or even the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and FBI.

In fact, someone I knew in the Marine Corps got sent to a Texas Prison for 30 years for trying to sell 2 kilos of cocaine. Wouldn't an Alcohol and Drug Intervention Program be a better solution for this person? Dealing Drugs is not something you want to mess with. If police even see a hand off of a small quantity these days, with the tighter Drug Enforcement Laws you can receive a year in prison.
